JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our FP&A team. This role involves managing invoicing and collections processes, as well as overseeing accounting activities for our Spanish site. You will be responsible for generating invoices, performing collection activities, managing budgets, coordinating with external bookkeepers, preparing reports, and maintaining effective communication with clients. Additionally, you will support various FP&A and financial controlling tasks, including projects related to financial analysis.
The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel, experienced with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite), and has a basic understanding of bookkeeping practices.
Responsibilities:
Manage budgets and forecasts
Liaise with external fiscal and accounting advisors
Prepare legal and financial reports required in Spain
Oversee accounting processes, including invoicing, billing, and reconciliations
Issue accurate and timely invoices to clients
Execute collection activities and follow up on outstanding payments
Serve as the primary contact for billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies professionally
Maintain up-to-date billing records and coordinate with the accounting team to ensure data accuracy
Track billing and collection metrics and provide regular reports to management
Support and participate in financial and cross-functional projects
Requirements:
2-4years experience in financial controlling or FP&A
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including complex functions)
Experience working with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a strong advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support forecasting and financial analysis
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
A team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
