Registration Specialist- Paid Intern position

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP:
We are looking for a highly organized and skillful person to join our international Registration Team as a Paid Intern.
This is a part-time, paid internship of 3 days per week. The intern will receive compensation for the internship and will gain hands-on experience in the professional events and congress industry.
The role includes providing assistance and taking care of the entire registration cycle, as well as communicating with all parties involved in the registration process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accommodation:
Manage hotel room block for all invited speakers in sync with the Accommodation Sales team.
Handle booking requests, including check-in/check-out dates, room preferences, and special requirements.
Coordinate room changes, updates, and last-minute adjustments as needed with the participants.
Maintain clear and organized records of all bookings and communications.
Participant Registration/Coordination:
Registration management in accordance with predefined work plan/timetable and in keeping with Kenes’ congress registration policies/guidelines.
Responsible for the entire registration “life cycle,” including entering participant data, communication with all parties involved in the registration process, and generating registration reports based on relevant data to finalize accounts with all suppliers post-congress.
Manage Travel Grant registrations and reimbursements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Fluent English, with strong verbal and written communication skills;
Highly detail-oriented and very well organized;
Ability to work independently and in a team, reporting problems as they arise;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines;
High level of customer service;
High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems;
Experience in Hotels, Tourism, Travel, or Professional Event Management industry – an advantage;
Experience working in any customer support-related role – an advantage.
