JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Association Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of day-to-day operations for international medical associations, ensuring smooth execution of activities and alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Secretariat Support
Act as the main liaison for the society, manage daily operations, respond to stakeholders, and ensure all documentation and procedures are up to date and organized.Meeting Coordination
Plan and coordinate virtual and in-person meetings (board, committees, general assembly), including logistics, materials, minutes, and follow-up.Governance & Executive Support
Work closely with the board and officers, support elections and leadership transitions, implement policies, and provide guidance on governance matters.Project & Event Management
Lead key projects and initiatives such as awards, travel grants, scholarships, and support for international congresses in collaboration with internal teams.Communications & Outreach
Coordinate newsletters, email campaigns, and social media; maintain the society's website; and support marketing and visibility efforts.Financial Oversight
Support budget planning, process payments and reimbursements, and collaborate with the finance team and treasurer to ensure accurate reporting.Membership Management
Oversee membership applications, renewals, and engagement strategies; manage membership data and communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience & Background:
3–5 years of experience working with nonprofit or membership-based associations
Experience managing projects and implementing work plans
Familiarity with the operations of nonprofit organizations
Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and VIPs in multicultural environments
Experience in building trust and credibility across diverse stakeholder groups

Experience managing or supporting large-scale conferences and live events
Experience working with scientific or medical societies
University degree (or equivalent)
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
Additional languages – an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office
